LINK WILL BE EMAILED PRIOR TO CLASS This workshop is designed for small business owners that have 1- 50 employees and will assist you in making sure your basic HR compliance is in order. Learn about some of the core H.R. best practices and requirements, regulatory hot topics, and how they apply to your business. You will learn tips on how to protect yourself and your employees by utilizing appropriate employee forms, files and employee handbooks. Sample of topics: -components of a job description -tips to help you in hiring employees -how to determine the essential functions of a position -managing Employee and H.R. Files -pay considerations when determining employee pay rates – employee classifications -payroll tips -considerations when onboarding new hires, and more. Plus, we will review some common questions and answers relative to COVID-19 and workplace precautions. This is designed to be a small group of employers that can interact and discuss very specific issues.
