Accelerate Columbus: From Kitchen to Market (Milo-Grogan)

Are you a new business owner or interested in starting your own business? The Ohio Small Business Development Center at Columbus State, in partnership with the City of Columbus, brings you Accelerate Columbus: Start-Up and Launch, a business management training program with individual one-on-one advising to launch and grow your small business. This program includes a Business Start-Up Workshop, Financial Literacy training and for those interested in starting a food based business, From Kitchen to Market. This session is: FROM KITCHEN TO MARKET Learn the process and rules of compliance that regulate food product sales, how to work with distributors and grocers and discover the local resources available to launch your food business. Participants attending the program will receive a certificate of completion. Program participates are able to bypass the SBDC Start-Up Process and gain immediate access to our one-on-one advising services. PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS: This Accelerate Columbus: Start-Up and Launch program is focused on starting and growing small businesses within the City of Columbus and Milo-Grogan and South Linden Neighborhoods. Participants (not yet business owners) must live within the City of Columbus corporation limits. Business owners must live and own a business within the City of Columbus corporation limits. Participants attending Accelerate Columbus: Start-Up and Launch program that do not meet the residency requirement will be invited to continue in the SBDC Start-Up Process held at Columbus State Community College.
