Ohio SBDC Small Business Tax Workshop
Business tax laws, legal structure, deductions and expenses explained by local CPAs and tax professionals.
Existing or prospective small business owners or the self-employed person can learn about their federal and state tax rights, requirements and responsibilities by attending the Ohio SBDC Small Business Tax Workshop. The workshop is designed to provide a general overview of business taxes.
Speaker: Dave Krebs, CPA, is a graduate of Miami University and is a nationally recognized author and speaker on taxation and small business. Dave is currently coaching High School bowling at Worthington Christian, his 49th youth team between baseball, softball and bowling. Dave has run the circumference of the earth over his lifetime and enjoys eliminating fish from waterways around Ohio. Dave is active at Worthington Christian Church with his lovely wife Pat, who is a minister. He has four kids and is hoping to not be stuck on one grandchild forever.
Moderator: Bruce Walters, MS, CBA, is a Certified Business Advisor for the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Columbus State Community College, where he manages the Startup business process for new clients, and provides marketing, operations, and general advising services for established businesses. Bruce’s experience is predominately in insurance, human resources, entertainment, and non-profit administration. Bruce holds an Associate Degree in Art from City College of San Francisco, a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from the University of California Berkeley, and a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Communications from Franklin University.
