Guest: Esther Salata, Founder, Benesafe Solutions, LLC

Esther is a native of Mumbai, India — her family immigrated to the United States when she was seven. With a love for the outdoors, recycling, and animals, Esther studied Environmental Science and Conservation. Now a dog mom, educator and naturalist, she believes that with education, you can create a safer world.

From a young age, Esther wanted to create positive change in her community. With an environmental science background, she spends a lot of time outdoors, where she enjoyed gardening, bonfires, and playing with her dog. She recognized an increase in mosquitos and ticks around her home, which were biting not only her but her dog, Benny. So, she set out to create a product that was safe to use for Benny, herself, and the environment... which is how she came up with Benesafe.

Moderator: Bruce Walters, MS, CBA

Bruce is a Certified Business Advisor for the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Columbus State Community College, where he manages the intake process for new clients, and provides marketing, operations, and general advising services for established businesses. Bruce’s experience is predominately in insurance, human resources, entertainment, and non-profit administration. Bruce holds an associate degree in art from City College of San Francisco, a bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of California Berkeley, and a master’s degree in marketing and communications from Franklin University.
