Guest: Sandra Carrillo

Sandra Carrillo is an experienced attorney and small business owner based in Columbus, Ohio. Before founding her own law firm, she served as an assistant city prosecutor with the Columbus City Attorney’s Office, representing various local jurisdictions in criminal misdemeanor cases and gaining extensive courtroom experience.

Sandra holds a J.D. with a concentration in civil litigation from Capital University Law School, where she excelled in moot court and mock trial competitions, earning recognition including “First Round Best Attorney” and induction into the Order of the Barristers. She also earned dual B.A. degrees in criminology and psychology from The Ohio State University, where she previously worked in the Government and Legal Affairs offices.

In addition to her legal career, Sandra has been a small business owner since 2016 and actively serves her community. She is a board member of the St. Vincent Family Center and is involved in organizations such as the Columbus Bar Association and Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc. She is also a graduate of several leadership programs including United Way’s Project Diversity, the Latina Mentoring Academy, and the YWCA’s Gen Y Leadership Program.
