This event has been canceled
There are a lot of reasons that a business owner or aspiring entrepreneur may want to come up with an accurate dollar figure of what a business is worth: - They're looking to purchase an existing business and don't want to overpay. - They're looking to sell their business and don't want to leave money on the table or ask for too much. - They want to bring on a new business partner or LLC member and need to determine how much that person's share would be worth. - They need it for insurance purposes, to not shortchange one of their beneficiaries in their last will and testament, or a whole host of other reasons And sometimes, they just want to know--it's as simple as that. In this seminar, we'll teach you the most common ways (from the simple to the complex) to come up with what a value for a business. Bring your prior years financial statements or tax returns for some on-the-spot calculations. Former business broker and current SBDC business coach, Rich Whalen, will be leading this seminar.
