Google Business Profile Manager

Wed 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Introduction to the Google Business Profile Manager This will be a hands-on workshop walking you through the verification process and optimizing your Google Business Profile to help you show up in more searches, get found, and look better than your competitors.

Speaker(s): Rusty Allison A lover of all things geek and pop culture, Rusty grew up in the 70's and 80's in rural West Virginia deep in the heart of the Appalachians. While earning a business degree at West Virginia, he met his wife, April, and they've been happily married (most days) for almost 28 years. April and he have two beautiful daughters, Mackenzie and Emily, 20 and 18 years old respectively. Rusty spent the first 20 years of his professional career in different sales roles selling everything from newsprint paper to cell phones and even 401k retirement plans. What was his big takeaway from all that experience? He wasn't very good at selling. But he loved teaching and coaching so in early 2016, he began training as a Google City Ambassador under the tutelage of Joe Danzer, Cincinnati's Senior Ambassador to Google. In 2016 and 2017, he and Joe were selected as the #1 City Ambassador team in the U.S. based on the total number of businesses helped. Google has since sunset the Ambassador's program but Rusty's continuing mission is to help businesses with their digital efforts. Today, he and Joe combined superpowers with Advanced Online Insights and focus on 360 virtual tours and interactive experiences for businesses, Street View On-Demand which produces Street View imagery for Google Maps, and lastly, AOI Software which helps multi-location companies more effectively and efficiently manage their Google Business Profiles in bulk instead of one at a time.
