Speaker(s): William Bowers serves as the Director of the Economic and Community Development Institute's (ECDI) Veteran Business Outreach Center (VBOC) of Ohio. A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, he dedicated 21 years to the U.S. Air Force as a communications technician, with assignments in Louisiana, Turkey, Italy, New Mexico, South Korea, the Azores, Virginia, and Ohio, and deployments to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Qatar. During his service, William earned a bachelor's degree in management studies with a minor in human resources from the University of Maryland Global Campus, along with several technical and professional certifications.
