Marketing on a Shoestring Budget

The Workforce & Business Development Program (W&B) at the Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC) in partnership with the Ohio State University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will be conducting an in-person workshop on how local businesses and entrepreneurs can create and execute plans for “Marketing on a Shoestring Budget.” This workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd from 2 – 4pm at the OSU South Centers Endeavor Center located at 1862 Shyville Road in Piketon.
This workshop will provide attendees with tools, tips, best practices, and resources to build and conduct effective marketing strategies on limited funds. Melanie Sherman, Certified Business Advisor at the OSU SBDC and Adam Days, Business Development Specialist at the W&B, will be the instructors for this workshop and will share their years’ experience in marketing and advertising. This workshop will review how to brand your business for recognition, use social media for impact, use testimonials and referrals effectively, build a marketing database of ideas, and more.
