Boots to Business (Veteran Entrepreneur Training)
Boots to Business (B2B) is an entrepreneurial education and training program offered by the US Small Business Administration (SBA) and the SBDC. This two day curriculum provides valuable assistance to veterans and their families exploring self-employment opportunities by leading them through the key steps for evaluating business concepts and the foundational knowledge required for developing a business plan. This program is valuable to veterans who are thinking of starting a business or already own a business and want to develop their business acumen. Participants are also introduced to SBDC and SBA resources available to help assess start-up capital and additional technical assistance. This program is available free of charge to service members, their spouses, their business partners and their dependents.
Speaker(s): Earl Gregorich -Earl Gregorich has over a decade of experience in the Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Gregorich currently serves as the Lead Center Director for District 4 at Wright State University where he has experienced success in assisting veteran-owned businesses. Gregorich is also an experienced entrepreneur, as owner of Tactical Insights, LLC, a veteran-owned and operated business specializing in internet marketing and web based business management. Gregorich won the 2012 Ohio SBDC Peer Recognition Award for Mentorship and in 2014 was recognized as the Ohio SBDC State Star for Overall Best SBDC Counselor in the State of Ohio.
