Becoming Bankable is a financial education program that teach small business owners how to manage their business by the numbers, manage their credit, and Become More Bankable.

Becoming Bankable equips minority business owners with the tools and core competencies to become financially literate in understanding credit and the common financial books and records to run their business by the numbers and be well-positioned to obtain funding. Becoming Bankable's mission is to focuses on building racial economic equity by providing access to financial education, professional services, and software tools to underserved small minority businesses. This program series is open to start-ups (newly operating to 3 years), and existing businesses with cash flow. Participants will have access to a financial professional to set up their books and records on Zero (accounting software) and to provide basic training of how to create reports within ZERO. Also, participants will learn how credit works, and how to build good credit and receive credit repair plans if needed.
