In this workshop we will walk you through registering your business with the State of Ohio and obtaining a Federal EIN number. Representatives will discuss the different types of legal business structures and assist participants with completing the necessary forms. The registration walk through will focus on registering an LLC and Trade Names. This workshop has PREREQUISITES. Please see the special instructions.

Prerequisite 1. Selected a name for your business. 2. To ensure the business name is available check if the name has been taken by searching on the state business search site; https://businesssearch.ohiosos.gov/ 3. Have payment ready to pay for your registration on the state website. It is $99 to register an LLC and $39 to register a Trade Name. 4. Payment must be in the form of DEBIT or CREDIT Card and you will pay online on the Secretary of State Website. 5. During VIRTUAL Workshops please have 2 devices ready, one to watch the steps and one to enter the information.
