Exporting Medical Devices
This event has been canceled
Prior to exporting medical devices, companies must receive approval and clearance by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. However, medical devices that are legally marketed in the U.S. may be exported to anywhere in the world without prior FDA notification or approval. Depending on which section of the FD&C Act a firm is exporting under, it may need to request an export permit letter, export certificate or it may need to submit a simple notification. During this special training, companies will receive in-depth information on how to export legally marked and approved devices. In addition to application process for export certificates, permits, as well as steps in submitting simple notifications.
